Do More Thinking/Singing, Less Writing
Hi,
    This class, we use the basic derivatives to compute more sophisticated derivatives &
cut down on the required pencil & paper computation of high school calc.
    Recall, "The derivative of the sine is the cosine."
    Recall, "The derivative of e to-the-x is e to-the-x."
    So the derivative of the product sin(x)ex may be sung (as in the Take A Derivative by Singing! video)
and the parenthises simply filled in.
y = sin(x)ex
y' = (the derivative of the first) times (the second) + (the derivative of the second) times (the first)
y' = (    )(   ) + (   )(   )
y' = (cos(x))(ex) + (ex)(sin(x))
y' = (ex)( cos(x) + sin(x))
