      Some verbs are listed more than once because of the different ways they may be used. CLICK THE BUTTON FOR EACH VERB USED. IF A NUMBER IS LISTED MORE THAN ONCE, CLICK EACH COPY. Later, refer to the group heading to determine if you need to remove a word from a group based on how it was used on the test.

      For example number 3, add is listed 2 times. Add might be used in the following ways.

• Add listed under SYNTHESIZE, produce:
  To use information "added together" to produce a result -- a test of the capacity to create something new give information.
• Add listed under APPLY, use in a new setting:
  To complete an addition in which larger numbers or unfamiliar expressions are used-- a test of applying a skill to a new situation.
• Add listed under KNOW, remember, acquire:
  To state an addition fact or the answer to an addition problem one has already seen -- a test of knowledge.
