IN MATH: 1. n. set of numbers or ordered pairs often generated by a relation, function, equation. 2. n. picture of the set of ordered pairs plotted as points on a number line or coordinate system. 3. v. to draw that set of points on a coordinate system or number line. EX. Sometimes students think a set of coordinate axis make a graph. This is only true if there are no points in the set to be graphed. 4. n. a chart or table or display. EX. Please make a circle graph to explain the budget.
